The Showman, an impressive thriller drama that you'll only watch on Cineshort. Our protagonist, a showman, arrives at a home pretending to be injured. Meanwhile, family members are preoccupied with their own minor family crises. The stranger harms everyone one by one, but interestingly, all except one are harmed through each other's actions. Reality and performance become intertwined. The film masterfully incorporates democracy and political references in a historical context. The ringing of an open phone was quite powerful as a metaphor. Another crucial point worth emphasizing is the possibility that even those closest to you might abandon you when survival is at stake, even within a family. It's quite difficult to say, "I wouldn't do that." After all, no one is innocent of a sin they haven't been tested by, and experiencing this can be very painful. I quite enjoyed the film's premise and execution. It clearly conveyed the suspense of the thriller and the intensity of the drama. I definitely recommend this film to everyone. Enjoy watching!
