Her followers wonder about Victoria and blame Leo. According to them, Leo is responsible for this situation. Everyone shares the footage they have, making posts like a reporter. They establish a kind of social media court and convict Leo. The young man is now someone everyone hates. Posts on social media can really be quite manipulative and ruthless. As if we're more crime-hunting than the police, more just in judgment than judges, more reporter-like than journalists. Everyone puts forward an opinion on every topic and this is treated as information. We also approach it as if it were really true. In this sense, we all have to be very good social media literate nowadays. A word that someone casually throws out there in their current mood can darken someone's life or cause a lynching. The worst part is being able to easily get away with this situation. The excuse "I didn't actually mean it that way" immediately relieves these people of responsibility.
