5EB short film is a remarkably intriguing drama exclusively available on Cineshort. The film presents a bombardment of memories. Our protagonist, Juliette, is trying to resolve an important matter for her boss. At times, she has dissatisfied conversations with her boss over the phone. Meanwhile, as she rushes about, she encounters an old school friend. She becomes excited to see her friend and wants to reminisce about old times. However, her friend's memories of Juliette are quite negative. Additionally, the director's creative approach of illustrating the friend's difficulty in communicating with Juliette through fire and ember metaphors proves quite innovative. It's a very engaging short film. Our own memories of the past may sometimes be more than just the meanings we assign and what we remember, especially if these memories relate to places with many people, like schools or offices. When the meaning attributed to people and events differs, memories also change. Returning to the film, I enjoyed it and definitely recommend it to everyone. Happy viewing!
